Engr. Ronald Ambrocio is an Electrical Engineer who has significant years of experience in Environment and Occupational Safety and Health, Geothermal Power Plant Operation, Electrical Maintenance, and Managerial Position. He is an “Accredited Occupational Safety and Health Consultant of DOLE- OSHC” and an “Accredited Environmental Trainer of DENR- EMB” for the Advance Training Modules for Pollution Control Officers (Hazardous Waste management and Climate Change), holds a NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety, has long years of experience in ISO Certification as Internal Auditor, and is highly capable of establishing and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems and preparation of Environmental Risk Assessment. With his wealth of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety, Ronald was awarded “2016 HALL OF FAMER SHAPES Outstanding Safety Professional Award, Safety and Health Association of the Philippines Energy Sector, Inc. in coordination with the Department of Energy”. Under his leadership, “Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant received DOLE Secretary’s Award of Distinction (Institutional Category) during the 8th Gawad Kaligtasan at Kalusugan, Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety and Health Center” and “Makban Geothermal Power Plant received the 2016 HALL OF FAMER Corporate Safety and Health Excellence Award, Safety and Health Association of the Philippines Energy Sector, Inc in coordination with the Department of Energy”. In 2012, he also received Safety Recognition Award in the Department of Labor and Employment – Bureau of Working Conditions. And in 2010, he was awarded as the Outstanding Safety Practitioner from the Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc.- Industrial Safety Division
